Our PhD candidate Bulus Barnabas has been recently in Nigeria collecting data for his dissertation thesis. His research investigates food security among school children in Nigeria.
During his research stay, B. Barnabas held a focus group discussion (FGD) with smallholder farmers involved in the supply chain for caterers within the home-grown school feeding program; he also interviewed the headteachers regarding the effect of the school feeding program.
Finally, to estimate the impact of the school feeding program on children, Bulus took the pupils’ measurement for anthropomorphic data in selected schools in northeastern Nigeria.
