On the 19th of November 2021, one of the members of the cooperative research group - Gospel Ayodele Iyioku – participated in the ELLS scientific student conference themed “Green (R)Evolution: From Molecules to Ecosystems.” The program was organized by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Poland (SGGW). During this event, Gospel did a poster presentation of his topic “Effect of Farmer Input Support Program on the Economic Performance of Smallholder Maize Farmers: A Case Study of Agricultural Cooperatives in Zambia” under the subtheme – Community. This session was chaired by Thorsten Treue, an associate professor from the Department of Food and Resource Economics (IFRO), University of Copenhagen.
Presenting alongside other first-year Ph.D. students, MSc students, and BSc students, with several other individuals in attendance, Gospel represented the group and the faculty well and was awarded the third best poster presentation in the subtheme mentioned earlier. In his remarks, he stated that it was of great privilege to have participated in the conference and be recognized for an award.
