The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTA) has launched a new project entitled "Enhancement of the education and scientific research in the field of biotechnologies, agricultural production and extension at Hawassa University, Ethiopia" financially supported by Czech Development Agency.
Lecturers from FTA will regularly travel to Hawassa University to deliver following courses: molecular genetics, in-vitro plant technologies, agroforestry, ethnobotany and new crops development, post-harvest processing technologies, identification and implementation of rural development projects, value-chain development.
In May of this year, Marie Kalousová and Anna Chládová successfully started the project with the course of molecular genetics at the College of Agriculture and Wondo Genet College of Forestry and Natural Resources.
