In summer 2017 I spent six weeks in Ghana, where I collected data for my Master´s thesis “Greater Cane Rat Market Survey in Ghana”.
This experience was very valuable in many ways. I visited lots of farms, where I finally saw everything we learn at school. I saw how people breed poultry, pigs, cattle and also other local animals. I visited local markets where I did my research and met people who share their experiences with me. In my free time I visited many beautiful places, because Ghana is very interesting country with kind and welcoming people.
I am very thankful for opportunity to collect my data in Ghana, even thought it was not always easy. Stay in Ghana has enriched me not only with new knowledge, but also with many personal experiences.
