Target Country: Indonesia
Project Coordinator: Hynek Roubík
Ukrainian Partners: University of Lampung
Budget: 9,720 EUR
Donor: Erasmus+ (European Commission)
Duration of the Project: 2022 – 2025
The main objective of the project is to support the mobilities of students and teaching staff among the project‘ partners from the Czech Republic and Indonesia.
The main project partners are the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) together with the University of Lampung (UNILA).
Mobilities
The proposed mobility is focused on the mobility of 1 student (bachelor or master for 4 month) from UNILA to CZU.
In addition, the proposed mobility aims to support 1 staff (for 14 days) from CZU to Indonesia.
Student from UNILA (1) will have the opportunity to study at the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (CZU) in English to gain 30 ETCS credits per semester for successfully completed selected subjects.
Background
The University of Lampung is highly committed to continuing tridharma, the three pillars of higher education for the sake of the development of the university as well as the nation. As stipulated in the long-term development plan (LDP) in the period of 2005 – 2025, the university has established the vision:
“By the year 2025, the University of Lampung will have been among the top ten universities in Indonesia.”
With this project, we believe we will contribute this goal.
The aim of the proposed project is to support Indonesian student from agricultural engineering and agricultural sciences programmes to participate the courses in the Czech Republic and involve them in joint scientific, research and pedagogical activities. Nowadays, there is a large demand in Indonesia for agricultural studies in the Czech Republic, which is limited by the lack of a grant for a study to the Czech Republic. UNILA have been long-term working with CZU.
This project builds on previous experience and, at the same time, enables this cooperation to deepen and support the mobility of students and teachers directly, which will increase their knowledge and competencies. For more than sixteen years, CZU Prague has established scientific research and pedagogical cooperation with the educational institutions of Indonesia. Indonesian students are studying at CZU subjects that complement their knowledge needed to successfully complete their final qualification work and use laboratory equipment that is not normally available to their institution.
Internationalization
Internationalization is a key component of the both university’s aspiration. In this regard, the UNILA has excellent collaborations and linkages with industries, academic institutes and professional bodies.
There is ongoing collaboration, such as joint supervision of students and collaborative research.
With this project, we hope to encourage this even more.
