This project supports the mobilities of students and teaching staff amongst the project partners: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU) – Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ) in Czech Republic and the Université 8 Mai 1945 Guelma (UG) – Faculty of Nature and Life and Earth Sciences and the Universes (FSNVSTU) in Algeria, during the period 2020-2023.
The project is oriented to cooperation in fields like wildlife conservation, sustainable and climate-friendly solutions in agriculture, environmentally friendly use of natural resources, conservation of endangered animal species, reconstruction of ecosystems, breeding of indigenous species, or application of modern techniques of animal husbandry.
Mobilities offered:
- 2 mobilities for staff from CZU to UG, 16 days each (STA – teaching).
- 2 mobilities for staff from UG to CZU, 16 days each (STA – teaching).
- 2 mobilities for staff from UG to CZU, 16 days each (STT – training).
- 2 mobilities for PhD students from CZU to UG, 2 months each (SMP – traineeships).
- 3 mobilities for PhD students from UG to CZU, 2 months each (SMP – traineeships).
- 3 mobilities for MSc students from UG to CZU, 4 months each (SMS – studies).
All the mobilities are funded according to EU regulations. The partners will assist to the selected staff and students for the issuance of visa and arrangement of insurance and accommodation.

Selection of candidates, requirements, and proof of participation:
Deadlines for applications will be announced individualy for each call.
Applicants should be nominated to the receiving institutions by July 15th (for mobilities during autumn term) or by November 15th (for mobilities during spring term).
Applicants will go through an interview with the project coordinators and responsible persons from the study programs where the applicants want to conduct their training or teaching activity. Candidates will be selected according to their:
- Theoretical and practical knowledge on the priority topics of the project.
- Previous studies and research topics related to the priority topics of the project.
- Scientific excellence, in case if PhD students and staff.
- English level.

In total, there will be organized 8 mobilities divided as:
Incoming mobilities, from GUELMA to CZU:
- 3 MSc students for 4 months for studies (SMS)
- 2 PhD students for 2 months for training (SMP)
Outgoing mobilities, from CZU to GUELMA:
- 3 PhD student for 2 months for training (SMP)

Available scholarships:
Subsistence costs (flat rate):
- Incoming students to the CR: 800 EUR / month
- Outgoing students from the CR: 700 EUR / month
- Incoming staff to the CR: 140 EUR / day (1.-14. day); 98 EUR / day (15.-60. day)
Travel costs:
In addition to the subsistence costs, a transport allowance is added, which is graded according to the distance between the domestic institution and the place of stay abroad. It is paid once for whole mobility (for travel to and back).
- For Algeria, the travel scholarship is 275 EUR / participant.
