Overview:
A practical internship in a foreign company or organization in a programme country, which is now also open to recent graduates. Fresh graduates must be selected by their higher education institution in the last year of study and their internship abroad must be passed and finished till one year after graduation.
The graduate internship should last from 2 to 5 months. Attention - previous participation in the Erasmus + programme is included in the given study cycle, e.g. during the master's study you spent 5 months on a study stay and 3 months on training -> the maximum length of the graduate internship can be 4 months).
It is implemented on the basis of a tripartite agreement between the student, the sending higher education institution and the receiving organization/institution/
It is strongly recommended to sign the necessary documents while still studying at the university, at the time of signing the documents the applicant should still have the status of a student.
Internships can be done in any public or private organization active in the labor market or in education, training and youth, a non-profit organization, a public body at local, regional or national level, etc., generally almost all institutions and companies, except institutions managing EU programmes (the list of ineligible organizations is available here https://europa.eu/european-
Who can participate:
A student can be a citizen of any country, but must be a CZU student.
The graduate internship can be done by a recent graduate, who registers for the internship before the end of the study (before the defense of the final thesis).
The graduate internship must be completed within 12 months after graduation (day of the defense of the final thesis).
Foreigners cannot go to their country of origin or permanent residency for a traineeship, as it lacks an international purpose of the Erasmus+ programme
Alumni on Erasmus+ for fresh graduates training cannot be registered in active studies. If you wish to continue, you have to finish the traineeship before your enrollment to study.
