Ndeye Sokhna Bal was participating in the ERASMUS KA171 program and studying in the Czech Republic and as she described it has been an enriching experience. From the moment she arrived, she was captivated by the country's architecture. Her receive institution, the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU), provided a welcoming and supportive environment that made the transition seamless.
Academically, the experience exceeded her expectations. The courses were intellectually stimulating and offered a fresh perspective. The professors were knowledgeable and very open minded, encouraging active participation and critical thinking.
Beyond the classroom, living in Prague was an adventure for her. She had the opportunity to explore various sites, museums, immersing herself in the Czech way of life. The experience was further enriched by the friendships I formed with fellow international students, who were always eager to share their traditions and customs.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her ERASMUS KA171 experience was the chance to develop a global network. Interacting with students from diverse backgrounds broadened her horizons and deepened my appreciation for different cultures, as she said. This exchange of ideas and experiences has been invaluable, fostering a sense of global citizenship and mutual understanding.
“Overall, my ERASMUS KA171 experience in the Czech Republic has been transformative. It has not only enhanced my academic and professional skills but also contributed significantly to my personal growth. I am grateful for this opportunity and highly recommend it to any student considering an international study experience. The memories and connections I have made will undoubtedly last a lifetime, and I am excited to apply the lessons learned in my future endeavors,” student Ndeye said.
