We are pleased to announce that Vice Dean for International Relations at FTA, Ing. Petra Chaloupková, Ph.D., dr. h. c., has been awarded the prestigious ICA Excellence Award in the category of Networking. This award was presented by the Association for European Life Science Universities (ICA) in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of networking and international relations.
The ICA, or the Association for European Life Science Universities, brings together more than 70 universities that focus on life sciences, including agriculture, biotechnology, food science, and related fields. Its mission is to promote international cooperation among universities, scientists, and professionals in these areas. The ICA selection panel recognized Petra Chaloupková for her expertise and efforts in advancing the ICA network. Her work set new standards in international networking and inspired many others in the field. Chaloupková’s innovative approach to tackling complex challenges and her commitment to sharing knowledge and supporting others truly embodied the spirit of this award.
Petra Chaloupková received the award during the ICA Excellence Awards Ceremony, which took place on 25–26 October 2024 during the ICA Rectors and Deans Forum at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Zagreb, Croatia.
