Prof. Ing. Ladislav Kokoška, Ph.D. from FTZ received a prestigious award from the ScholarGPS platform for outstanding contribution in his field

The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTZ) is pleased to announce that Prof. Ing. Ladislav Kokoška, Ph.D., has been awarded the title of Top Scholar by the prestigious ScholarGPS platform. This award, which he received for his outstanding publication record and significant scientific impact, places him among the top 0.5% of the world's most eminent scientists in the field of medicinal plants.

As an ethnobotanist and ethnopharmacologist, Prof. Kokoška specializes in the study of the biological effects and chemical composition of tropical plants used in traditional medicine for the treatment of infectious diseases.
