Additional stage of the admission procedure for the IDAE Master's programme

The Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences announces the additional stage of the admission procedure for the Master's programme International Development and Agricultural Economics (IDAE). Online application must be submitted by 15 July 2024.

International Development and Agricultural Economics (IDAE) is a two-year Master's study programme taught in English.

The International Development and Agricultural Economics program focuses on understanding the role of economic theories in agricultural development, poverty reduction and natural resource conservation, particularly in tropical areas and less developed regions of the world. It is based on the profile of the four research teams in charge of which the students prepare the thesis, which is the main focus of the study. Optional subjects and courses are available during the studies to enhance specialization. The student participates in the research activities of the research team and completes a work placement in the Czech Republic or abroad. This study programme is a great option for students who want to explore the world and engage in meaningful work while studying, thus contributing to agricultural development and increasing the resilience of smallholder farmers.
